Marquee

This guide explains how to use the Marquee component in the Hurco Backoffice. It renders an auto-scrolling horizontal strip of text items separated by decorative icons.

The component is available in the Content zone of the Content Page Collection Type.

Overview​

The Marquee continuously scrolls a list of short text labels across the screen in a looping animation. It is typically used to showcase a series of brands, values, certifications, product names, or other short-form content in a visually engaging way. The animation pauses when the user interacts with it (e.g. on hover).

Fields​

  1. Items (required) — A list of text entries to display in the scrolling strip. Each item has:
    • Title — The text label to display. Keep labels short for best visual results.

Behavior​

  • Items scroll continuously from right to left in an infinite loop.
  • Items are separated by a decorative icon.
  • The animation pauses when the user hovers over or interacts with the marquee.
  • The number of items affects the scroll speed — more items create a longer loop.
