FAQ Category Fields Explained
When creating or editing an FAQ Category in the Hurco Backoffice, you will encounter the following fields.
Field Descriptions
1. Title The display name of the category shown on the FAQs page (e.g. "Products & Machines"). This field is required.
2. Slug A URL-friendly identifier auto-generated from the title. Click Regenerate after changing the title to update the slug. This is used internally and is not visible to website visitors.
3. Icon An icon displayed alongside the category title on the FAQs page. Select an icon from the icon picker.
4. Sort Order
Controls the order in which categories appear on the FAQs page. Categories with a lower number are displayed first. For example, a category with Sort Order 1 will appear before one with Sort Order 2.
5. Description A short text shown on the FAQs page below the category title. Keep it brief and informative (e.g. "Learn about Hurco machine models, specifications and configurations.").
6. FAQs The FAQs that belong to this category. You can link existing FAQ entries here. Linked FAQs will appear under this category on the FAQs page.
You can also assign a category to an FAQ from within the FAQ entry itself, using the Category field.
