Add a New FAQ Category
1. Access the Content Manager
Open the Strapi Backoffice and navigate to the Content Manager.
2. Click "FAQ Categories"
Select FAQ Categories from the collection types list in the left sidebar.
3. Click "Create New Entry"
Fill in the fields with the relevant information.

4. Click "Publish" or "Save"
Choose Publish to make the category live on the website, or Save to keep it as a draft.
Edit an Existing FAQ Category
1. Select the Category to Edit
Click the FAQ Category you want to update from the list.
2. Make your changes
Update the relevant fields.
3. Click "Publish" or "Save"
Apply your changes by clicking Publish or Save.
Delete an Existing FAQ Category
1. Click the 3 dots icon on the entry you want to delete
This opens the options menu.
2. Click "Delete entry"
Press the Delete entry button.
3. Click "Confirm"
Finalize the deletion.
Deleting a category will remove it from the FAQs page immediately. FAQs linked to the deleted category will no longer be grouped under it. Always double-check before deleting — this action cannot be undone.
Ordering Categories on the FAQs Page
Use the Sort Order field to control the display order of categories. A category with Sort Order 1 will appear before one with Sort Order 2. You can update the Sort Order of any category by editing the entry and changing the value.
Linking FAQs to a Category
You can link FAQs to a category in two ways:
- From the FAQ Category entry: Use the FAQs relation field to search for and select existing FAQ entries.
- From an FAQ entry: Use the Category field to assign the FAQ to a category.
Both methods produce the same result — the FAQ will appear under the category on the FAQs page.
- Publishing a category, or changes to an existing category, will make them live on the website immediately.
- Saving will keep them as a draft that is not visible to website visitors until published.
